OutPost is an artist-led project funded by Essex County Council, initiated in 2019, as a means of taking art directly out into the landscape aiming to draw attention to little-known corners of Essex. OutPost has grown to incorporate over 20 artists placing their works at various points of inspiration. These locations are often remote or little known, enabling cultural participation within the local communities.
The following OutPost artists are also taking part in events at Essex Book Festival 2020 at our PLACE weekend, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March, at Firstsite in Colchester.
