A series of short soap-box shout-outs on why DIVERSITY MATTERS.

Hosted by Essex Book Festival and Essex Cultural Diversity Project, this event brought people together who want to champion and celebrate diversity in the arts and in our communities.

There were three-minute mini-talks and performances from a variety of speakers, including presentations from the Mercury Theatre, Colchester Chinese Society, African Families in the UK, CoCo Care & Best Foot Forward Dance, Arts La’Olam, Jaymini Bedia’s Bollywood Dance, University of Essex’s Writing on the Inside project, and many more!

Presentations were followed by food and refreshments.
