Calling all on board the LV18 in Harwich Quay to listen to nautical tales with Shane the Storyteller. Suitable for all ages.

Storytelling sessions start at 12.00pm, 1.00pm and 3.15pm – meet on the deck of LV18.

In the last year Shane has performed at the Dutch International School of Storytelling, The Hague, at a Storytelling café in Amsterdam, Chelmsford Art & Culture Festival, Kenya In The Park (the largest Kenyan festival in Europe), Barking Folk Festival, Dovercourt Seaside Festival, Estuary Fringe Festival, Harlequin Fayre, Folk East, Into The Wild Festival, The East Anglian Storytelling Festival, Roots Gathering Festival, Ufford Art Festival, Maldon Oyster Festival, Essex Poetry Festival, St Ethelbergas Peace Centre London and many other venues.

During the day there will also be shanty songs on LV18’s deck with The Silver Darlings, as well as the intimate and magical Mueller and Malten’s Live Poetry Jukebox. 

This event is part of Essex Book Festival’s Secret Water weekend in various venues in Harwich.
