Oh, the Places We’ll Go!
Storytelling from around the world
This event has been cancelled. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Essex Cultural Diversity Project invites you to a fun-packed day of storytelling and family activities, on the theme of journeys, adventures and cultures from around the world.
Get comfy in our pop-up storytelling armchair, with a Nigerian alphabetical adventure by children’s author Sade Fadipe. Make some noise with Efua Sey’s African storytelling with drums. Try your hand at Chinese calligraphy with Colchester Chinese Culture Society, and even enjoy a bit of Bollywood Dancing.
We’re also inviting the young (and young at heart) to let imaginations loose by telling us about your favourite place, either real or imagined, on the Where I Like to Be Bunting!
Free event for all ages.
Free, but spaces for some activities are limited so booking is advised.
