Asha + The Troll is a theatre performance for 5-8 year olds in which storytellers unfold a world of forests, friendship, puppetry, percussion, and… trolls! Follow Asha as she meets an unlikely friend and learns to love their differences.

Matipo Arts will also be holding a Storytelling Performance Workshop later in the day, giving participants a chance to create their own story and explore elements from the show.

Part of our Midsummer Madness Family Fun Day. Pack your picnic and make a beeline for what promises to be a magical day at Cressing Temple Barns. Free parking, free entry and lots of free activities. All welcome.

All those aged under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Matipo Arts CIC

Matipo Arts CIC is a multi-arts community interest company, founded in 2021 by theatre professionals (and sisters!) Sally and Georgia Hardcastle. They create theatre productions, facilitate workshops, and hold events in pursuit of a world in which all people have equal access to, and ownership of, theatre and arts. They want people to feel connected, empathetic and empowered! In everything they do they aim to be collaborative, ambitious, entertaining and kind.
