The ABP 500 Words is a unique event developed by one of the UK’s Happiest Primary Schools, Arthur Bugler Primary School in Stanford-le-Hope, Thurrock.

Children across Arthur Bugler Primary School have been encouraged to enter the BBC 500 Words Competition but have also provided a copy of their stories to their Class Teacher. Their stories have now been turned into a published book and the children will be taking part in their own book signing at Corringham Library!

Award-winning author of The Thirteen Treasures Trilogy, Michelle Harrison, will also be joining the event to speak to the budding young authors about her life as an author and author advice.

The mission of this event is to raise the aspirations, hopes and values the children have towards their writing abilities. This purposeful project will ensure that the children’s stories are not just confined to the covers of their Literacy books but instead are shared for everyone to see!

Tickets: This is a closed event (invite only) as it is mainly for the children and their family and friends. If you are interested in attending please email us for more information.
