Jules Pretty’s events at Felixstowe Museum (10.45am) and at Harwich Redoubt Fort (2.15pm) will still be going ahead.
On 26th June we will be celebrating the publication of writer and environmentalist Jules Pretty’s latest book Sea Sagas of the North: Travels and Tales of Warming Waters with events taking place in both Felixstowe Museum and Harwich Redoubt Fort.
The first event takes place at Felixstowe Museum. Then we set sail via the Foot and Bicycle Ferry from Felixstowe to Harwich Quay for the second event which takes place at Harwich Redoubt Fort. Audiences are invited to join us for part or all of the day.
We are encouraging audiences to attend both events with a special storytelling delight to connect the two.
Take the Harwich Harbour Ferry from event to event and you’ll be treated to some Salty Tales from the marvellous, award-winning storyteller Glenys Newton along the way (included in the ferry ticket price).
So why not make a day of it, spend some extra time looking around these wonderful venues, plus nearby Landguard Fort and nature reserve, or have lunch overlooking the sea.
