Jim Kelly has written fifteen crime novels to date. His first series began with The Water Clock, featuring fictional journalist Philip Dryden, based in Cambridgeshire. Kelly won the Crime Writer’s Association Dagger in the Library Award in 2006 for the Dryden books.
His second series is set up on the north Norfolk coast and stars DI Peter Shaw and DS George Valentine. It won the New Angle Prize for literature linked to East Anglia. The books are set on what he likes to call ‘The Fifty Mile Beach’ – the stunning sandy stretch which runs along the edge of the North Sea.
