Five years after his death, crime writer HRF (Harry) Keating springs a surprise: a new novel A Kind of Light. His wife Sheila Mitchell (Keating) talks with Simon Brett about the book written in 1987 but never published, the decision to release it as an original audiobook, her husband’s admiration of Joseph Conrad, and his love for the spoken word.

This event is part of Essex Book Festival’s Golden Age of Crime Weekend in Southend-on-Sea on 11 & 12 March.
